The Polaris-box 6 SCM is a new member of R&M’s Polaris family. The new generation of fiber optic connection and distribution boxes allows a secure splicing, patching and an easy integration of passive optical components. The Polaris-box family is weather resistant and fulfills the requirements of moderate or even harsh (IP65) outdoor applications. The Polaris-box 6 SCM has an integrated inlay for up to 12 splices, a secure splitter fixing possibility and an easy (click-on) mountable adapter bracket for 6/12 patch connections (SC, E-2000 / LCD). To separate splices from splitters or for additional splice capacity, six more FMTS-Compact splice trays can be retrofitted. The cable entry concept enables an easy installation of cables and micro ducts with diameters from ø 2.0 mm to ø 13.0 mm.
