The PRIME ODF 3/4U SCM Fiber Units are a variant of the PRIME ODF Fiber Units. Like the Fiber Units, the SCM Fiber Units are based on the modular construction system, which allows easy and uncomplicated migration of the Fiber Units into the PRIME ODF rack or into the PRIME 1U & 3U subracks. The PRIME ODF system, as an optical distributor, is designed to maximize the density of fiber connections in the smallest possible space. It is therefore particularly suitable for use in enterprises and companies with large fiber requirements and limited storage space for the distributor. In addition, the PRIME ODF 3/4HE SCM fiber units are optimized for use in combination with single fiber management concepts. The PRIME ODF 3/4U SCM Fiber Units support fiber and subscriber separation using the twelve FMTS Compact splice cassettes. The typical application of the PRIME ODF system with the PRIME ODF 3/4U SCM Units is in the Central Office, but installation in Data Center or Point of Presence (PoP) locations is also possible.

The PRIME ODF 3/4U SCM Units are available from R&M in various versions. The 3/4U Single Termination Units (STU) are each available with fiber feed on the left, fiber feed on the right or fiber feed on the rear. This allows you to cable the PRIME ODF system based on the requirements of your cabinet system. The PRIME ODF 3/4U STU (Single Termination Unit) is available as LC-Duplex, SC-Simplex (24 or 48 cables), E-2000-Simplex or E-2000-Compact version All products have the FMTS-Compact splice cassettes with a 2 or 4 fiber assignment. They can be installed modularly in the distribution system and can be combined as desired. In addition to the already equipped STUs, we also sell empty Single Splice Units (SSU), which you can freely equip yourself with FMTS-Compact splice cassettes as required. These are also available in fiber feed left, right and from the rear.
